The Children's Ministries Department is dedicated to the support and training of the leaders and teachers of the children in our churches and communities in Texas.
“But Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.’” Matthew 19:14
Through certification training, Sabbath School workshops, Vacation Bible School workshops, and sharing of resources, we aspire to equip children’s ministries leaders to reach our precious children for Jesus.
The mission of the Children’s Ministries Department is to help local churches show children today this picture of Jesus. Proverbs 22:6 challenges us to, “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.” It is important to show Jesus and His love to the children around us. If we wait until they are teenagers or young adults, we could miss the chance to reach them. The Children’s Ministries Department has training resources available for all the churches in Texas. If your church would like to have help with the children’s ministries in your local church, please contact the Children’s Ministries Department by phone at 817.790.2255.
Sabbath School is one of the most effective ways to present Jesus to the children in our churches. Training is available for all Sabbath School teachers in Texas.
Vacation Bible School is one of the most popular evangelism programs for children in our communities. We provide VBS training and courses for Children’s Leadership in several locations around Texas each year. We collaborate with the Evangelism Department and include classes for helping children share Jesus with other children during evangelism training workshops, also presented across the state by area.
Jesus is coming soon! We must reach our children and the children around us and allow them to use their talents to help spread the good news of Jesus Christ.
