The Texas Conference Treasurer is the Chief Financial Officer of the Conference, its subsidiaries and owned institutions. He is responsible for all financial affairs that affect the Texas Conference. Among many duties, he carries out the financial directives of the Constituency as represented by the Executive Committee; the responsibility in directing the proper use of God’s holy tithes, and our member generous offerings judiciously, appropriately, as possible. He is also responsible for the preparation of the annual budget and presentation of financial statements.

Randy Terry was born and raised in Upper Marlboro, Maryland (a suburb of Washington D.C.). He graduated from Columbia Union College (now Washington Adventist University) with a double major of Accounting and Business Administration and a minor in Computer Science. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1992. Randy started working in treasury at the Columbia Union Conference. Since then, he has worked in treasury at the Chesapeake Conference, treasury and trust at the Carolina Conference, treasurer of the Southern New England Conference and treasurer of the Upper Columbia Conference. He and his wife, Tamara, have three sons: Joey, 21, Jonathan, 19 and James, 17. Avid baseball fans, the family has a goal to visit every major league baseball stadium. They are more than half way there.
